Major Mohit Sharma was born on 13 January 1978, in Rohtak Haryana. He Completed his School at Delhi Public School (DPS) Ghaziabad. In His school life Major Sharma Was excelled in academics, sports and leadership activities. From childhood he dreamt of joining Indian Army and serving India.

After exceleting in NDA and IMA, Major Mohit Sharma was commissioned into the 5 Madras Regiment on December 11, 1999. However, He wanted to be the part of elite PARA SF – India’s Most Dangerous combat unit.

He volunteered for the Para SF probation and successfully earned the legendary Maroon Beret, becoming part of the elite 1 Para (SF).
